Rest in Peace, Bikum

For anyone out there still reading this, I have some horribly sad news. Our Bikum, our Elitha, our friend: Rick lost his life in a car accident this week.

It's been a gray week, but one filled with many rembrances of a wonderful, generous, funny man. Rick loved computers, he loved WoW, he loved many things. He will be missed.

Amazon updates BC shipping date... again

Okay, I just received another email...

"Hello from Amazon.com.
We are pleased to report that the following item will ship sooner than expected:
"World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Collector's Edition" [CD-ROM] "

So I login and and go look... It's looking like a shipping date on January 15 and a delivery date of around January 23. But at this rate, it'll change three or four more times before anything actually ships.

Amazon updates BC shipping date

"Hello from Amazon.com.

That is the email that greeted me this morning. The only pending order I have at amazon is for the Burning Crusades, so... Kind of easy to figure out what it's for, huh? So I was a little confused: Blizzard said BC was being released on the 15th on January, but here are the shipping dates listed from amazon:

Shipping estimate: October 15, 2006 - February 1, 2007
Delivery estimate: October 19, 2006 - February 8, 2007

So, this may have actually shipped and I may have actually received this in October and I just didn't realize it. Seriously, though, what's with the delay?

Anyway, since it's my first post on "THE BLOG" I guess I should identify myself, too. I'm the dirty, filthy little Gnome Rogue, Koiloki (or Koi for short).

"60 Pastime" Kiting: Kazzak Does Stormwind

I've been thinking about how to past the time once I hit 60 and find new challenges for my characters once I get to that point... Also its a hell of a lot of fun to throw in a bit of chaos into the peaceful mix of order! This is probably the extreme example of doing this! Lord Kazzak is probably the best way to go about this... after reading about this fine chap, Im thinking they might actually need admin intervention to drive him out of stormwind. after 3 mins this bad boy goes into supreme mode and that just means a whole lot of damage. In this video you'll notice him clearing entire sections with a spell that targets anyone in the proximity. this doe 800-1000 dmg per hit UNMODIFIED! in other words, he's pretty much invincible by non-admin standards. hehe To find out more on Lord Kazzak goto: WoWWikki's Kazzak Page
